Fun place to visit

It requires a little uphill hiking, but the path is not long and well worth the effort. You will want to spend some time when you reach the falls, so don't be in a hurry.

Good for young kids. Get the kids out of the car for a short walk and see a waterfall. Hard to get parking in the summer months.

Love this place. It is truly magical. Take your time and hike up. It is so easy to get to because it is just off the road.

In winter, Treasure Falls looks like a set piece from "Frozen". In late spring and early summer, snow melt amps up the water flow and noise level. In autumn, seasonal colors provide a beautiful contrasting backdrop. So it's always worth a look. Located on Highway 160 between Pagosa Springs and Wolf Creek. The parking area is usually adequate for the... More

This water falls trail head is just off the highway and has parking on the side of the road. The hike does have over 600 feet rise in elevation but there are ample places to catch your breath. It is well worth the effort to climb to the bridge that crosses over the lower falls. We were there in October... More

Easy hike if I was 20 years younger and 50 lbs lighter, LOL. Still I made it, beautiful trail. Recommend to everyone!

This is only about 15 miles away from Pagosa Springs on 160. even in the winter time there's a pull off and it's completely accessible however if you only have hiking boots and no snow gear you're not going to get up to the falls. this definitely requires SNOWSHOES in the winter time.

Very pretty waterfall right by HWY 160. Easy to stop and enjoy the waterfall. In the summer there are a lot of Chipmunks to entertain you! You can take a trail to the base of the falls that is not long or hard.

We hiked up to the base of the falls and were rewarded with a stunning frozen wonderland. Highly recommend this short, easy hike.

This is a gorgeous stop no matter the time of year, but there is something majestic about seeing a fall frozen in the winter. It's lovely to hike around and take pix of and right now, there is pletnty of snow to play in as well.
