At par with Boracay's Sand and Siargao's Waves

I was in awe after seeing it from up above via the Ultralight Plane at Mindanao Saga Flying Club. Beach is not yet crowded unlike Boracay. Water is clear and sand is white and... read more

I was in awe after seeing it from up above via the Ultralight Plane at Mindanao Saga Flying Club. Beach is not yet crowded unlike Boracay. Water is clear and sand is white and powdery. Only downside is waves can get higher like in Siargao which is suitable for surfing and because of that, It was a bit hard to... More

I like the fact that it is quiet and still fun at the same time. I've seen a gorgeous sunrise and the perfect waves. I don't swim and surf but I enjoyed that the waves can be quiet and playful at times. It's unpredictable! You can either choose to check in some of the resorts for comfort and facilities, but... When going to Dahican Beach, at MAti Davao Oriental you can either ride a bus or van. It took us 4 hours to travel with my family and friends. What i love most in Dahican beach was the blue water, white sand and the people were accommodating. The beach was owned by the LGU of Mati. It is a great... More

Get place to sit down and drink beer! You can skim board, surf, snorkel, swim, play beach volleyball or just relax and grab a cold beer.

From Tagum City, we traveled 3-4 hrs bus ride to Mati which cost us 160 Pesos per person. Then, a tricycle ride worth 110 from Mati Terminal going to Dahican Beach. We stayed overnight in Menzi Beach Park and Campsite. The place is clean and very spacious. The staffs are very accommodating and approachable. Rest rooms are good but when... More

There are more places to visit to learn surfing or skim boarding. If you love big waves and less crowded beach, then Dahican, Mati should be on your checklist. To get there: you can take the bus or rent a van or borrow a car (if you have a friend) in Davao City. It'll only take 3-4 hours to get... More

Met other surf enthusiasts along the beach. The beach itself was lovely. Large sandy shoreline, not that polluted. Helpful and more or less earnest local businesses in the area.

I grew up in Mati and we always frequent Dahican for ordinary days, special occasions and when we have visitors. The attraction offers diffent water activities from swimming to board skimming and wave surfing.
