A unique experience for me, the hot springs proved to be a nice getaway from the exhausting downhill snow skiing at Crested Butte. It was a gorgeous sunny day to enjoy the tranquil outdoor setting of the pools. Jumped between the hot 112 degree Lobster...More

Don't like these big pools with tons of people in them? Then these hot springs are for you! They did a great job modeling the area like a big garden. A high fence around it provides a comfortable private atmosphere so you don't feel watched...More

The Orvis Hot Springs were amazing! We aren't the hippie, natural healing, go nude everywhere type, but still felt completely comfortable in the "clothing optional" environment! We went to 4 (there may be more) natural springs and we were able to do all of them...More

As always a fun experience. Love this place. Check out the lobster pot and the warm pool if the pot cooks you.

First time visitor and really enjoyed ourselves. Went to the regular pool (not smoking for lobster) and stayed for over an hour the first time. Actually went twice in same day. Lots of fun and not bothered about being nude.

My husband and I just moved near Orvis and are now regulars here. So relaxing and quiet, the pools have different heat levels and the sauna is great. Highly recommend it!

There are stairs from the "main" entrance...but there is a "back door" entrance from the camping area. Give the friendly folks a call and they will make your stay happen. Enjoy!

You would need to fly to Denver or Grand Junction to rent a car. No Amtrak up there. hotels depends on your budget. I would of course check TripAdvisor. I stay at Chipita Lodge. You can also try Airbnb.
