My husband and I stayed at the Dakota Terraces Campground in Yurt 12 with our 2 dogs. We had reserved online so it cost us $80.00 for the night plus a $10 reservation fee. Well worth the fee because when we checked in, the other 2 yurts had filled up quickly with walkins. There is a $10 pet fee -... More

Our second time here. Have been to the area twice and found our place the last time. Nice park and campground and a good home base for exploring in the area. Did some early morning kayaking and had the Reservoir all to myself except for an occasional beaver and birds of course. Campsites are very nice with lots of natural... More

Ridgeway State Park is nearby our home in Montrose Colorado and just such a delight in almost every season of the year. Great hiking and cycling trails combine with magnificent views to make this a truly epic destination.

This beautiful park has such a variety of things to do. The lake is quite large!! Fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking, swimming (seasonal) & picnicking, to name a few things to do in the park. Activities vary by season, so check with the park headquarters before making plans, as the marina is open seasonally. The campgrounds are wonderful and also open... More

We spent a Night at the Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground. Since it's the fall the Area was beautiful and hardly any other Campers. It's a great Place to see the Stars, and Roaming Deer. We Picked this Campground because it has Hot Showers and Flush Toilets. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Spent a beautiful late summer night under the stars! This place was awesome. Coming from AZ it was everything I was looking for to beat the heat of the desert. With views of some gorgeous mountains winding trails through the pines and overlooks along the reservoir it was great. The camp resident was super friendly and had firewood for sale.... More
