A very nice park and tribute to Dennis Weaver along the highway. The carving of the eagle was breath taking. Tables for picnic's and walking paths.

We were very impressed with the park. There is good parking and the trails are marked. On the trails we saw many wildflowers and blooming cacti (at least during early-mid June). In addition, from a number of spots in the park you have wonderful views...More

Although it is small there is lot to do. There are hikes, a bike trail, a beautiful eagle sculpture with rock prayers, views etc . Nice tribute to Dennis aka mccloud

This is beautiful park for hiking on it’s trails and/or a picnic near the river. The eagle statue is a wonder of beauty. The prayer stones also

This is a spectacularly lovely spot and well worth pulling off the road for the short trip to the park. The statue of the eagle is inspiring and massive. The prayer rocks and circles are peaceful and the views of the mountains are just humbling....More

Definitely worth a stop if you'd like a nice little walk all no the river. Nice meditative place around the big eagle statue. Good place for birdwatching.
