The ride to the top is slightly scary for those of us who aren't fans of gondolas, but the views from the top are well worth it. The teenagers enjoyed talking pictures of their feet on either side of the continental divide.

Worth the time and money for sure! It's really cold and windy up at the top so make sure and take a jacket. Also don't forget the camera for the great picture opportunity.

It was windy the day we took the tram to the top. Although it was only a 10 minute ride it was a bit scary when the gondola started to sway in the gusts! Also, the gondola stops as passengers are being loaded & unloaded at the top & bottom! If I had on appropriate shoes I would have hiked... More

I thought it was reasonably priced. The family that owns it was very nice. The view at the top was spectacular. The cars feel very safe. My son and I hiked for a little bit at the top before coming down. Plan on bringing warm clothes with you. May not want to wear shorts.

The views from the top of the mountain are amazing. I was scared to death during the tram ride up. It was a windy day and the tram car was swaying quite a bit. It was well worth it once we got to the top. Amazing. We had tried to ride this tram twice before and it was closed for... More

The tram seats about 4 people . It slowly goes up the mountain and you can get off and observe all the mountain. You can even walk around on top. It was cloudy and rainy when we went but still such a spectacular view.

A modest cost to literally get to the top of the mountain ($8 for my senior ticket). It was a clear day and, as they advertise, you could see nearly forever in all directions. Open only during the summer. The cars are closed in, so there should be minimal worries about being “up there” above the ground on the way... More

My family and I visited this on a rainy day with heavy cloud cover. We did the tram just for the novelty of it. Actually if you drive to get to this was really cool. We took a dirt road along the old Monarch Pass and then hiked to the top of a mountain. It was with a two-year-old and... More
