So much interesting stuff here. Well presented. We were very impressed at the quality of this museum in such a small town. Jail, mining exhibits, photos, etc. The staff was very helpful. We were there about an hour but could have easily stayed longer. A...More

We absolutely loved this museum! We could have stayed all day long studying all the wonderful exhibits about the mining history. The exhibits were so interesting and well displayed. We will return someday and stay longer!

This unassuming museum reveals a wealth of history in a multi storied space. The displays are exceptional and obviously created by talented craftspeople who love their town's history. Steven is a wonderful ambassador for not just the museum but the town as well. Totally beyond...More

This museum doesn't look very big until you get inside. There is an old jail and there are some displays upstairs. Information on mining. Keep wandering and you will find more and more information. Allow at least an hour.

Oh, I just figured out the snow part. We couldn't get up to Highland Mary Lakes one year HIKING because of too much snow in the high country. So sorry for the mix-up.
