Skied and snowboarded over the holiday--we are Intermediate level and used to sking in Utah. We found the snow quality to be excellent, comparable to Utah powder--this may not always be the case, but some fresh snow that week left the trails in great condition!...More

The slopes are amazingly beautiful. Lots of runs to choose from no matter your level. Very much an old town atmosphere. The amenities are not as seamlessly organized as Beaver Creek, but good just the same.

When skiing Steamboat, always prepare for the cold. This valley is cold, but it keeps the snow from packing, which lends to it's traditional 'champagne' powder... I'll always come here!
