We went in January with temperatures around 14 degrees and LOTS of snow. This was an absolutely magical place and the highlight of the week. My friend lives there and had never been, as is often the case with special places near our homes. She was blown away by the beauty, too! We wore our swimsuits under our winter gear... More

Absolutely peaceful and relaxing. We went with outside temp of 5 degrees and water felt amazing (temp of 105-115). Be sure to bring water, snacks, towels, water shoes would be beneficial. We also booked a massage with Erica. She was the best. My husband requires a more deep tissue massage while i enjoy a more relaxing massage. She did both... More

Went to the hot spring with my friends. Enjoyed the different pools and a very quick dip into the river (brr). Beautiful scenery and just far enough out of town to not be overcrowded. Looking into one of the cabins for next time for sure!

Very well maintained area. Bathrooms were heated and nice to change in and looked brand new. Had small changing area but would suggest bathroom. If driving there, not a bad drive but if snow you have to have chains! Last 2 miles are gravel and winding, little parking. Went with snow on ground and was beautiful. MUCH algae on sides... More

Awesome place to just hang out. Enjoy the natural beauty of one of Steamboat's most beloved claim to fames. The Hot Springs are beautifully maintained and something every visitor should experience.

This place is fun and relaxing. This is the first time we have gone since we had two children. It's a bit different with the kids. There is really only one pool the kids can go into. I am definitely not complaining, but wanted to warn other parents that kids should probably be a bit older before this place can... More

No pun intended. (I didn't go in the cool part, only the hot part.) I call it cool because I find it hard to find, in the US, such a wild natural experience that is unfettered by walls and regulations and guardrails. You change your clothes in a small little wooden building and share the space with others (there's a... More

Always a great time, we have been going here for 17 years and always have a good time. It has changed a lot in those 17 years. Love it!

There were different pools with different temperatures, so you can pick how much heat you can handle. There was even one that was ice cold straight from the river. When we went, there were barely any people and it was nice and relaxing. The bottom of the pool is sand, I wore water shoes. Don't forget to bring a bottle... More

Drove up to the hot springs, paid our $15.00 admission fee (cash only) and retook a dipped in the first section of the hot springs. Hot hot hot! We found out the adjacent pool was more tolerable. We had a fair size of crowd but we were able to move around easily. The place has a changing cabin and parking... More
