No frills, No nonsense place. Great staff. Would recommend bring a headlamp if you stay past dark. Many different pools to choose from. Can get crowded at times from what I was told by locals. But I lucked out and was there when it was...More
We did not swim but enjoyed seeing the area. It is not easy to get there. We were allowed to see the springs from the top of the hill. It looked like the families and individuals swimming below were having a great time - and...More
The pools are within a natural River so the bottom isn't "finished" just sand- I loved that! It's definitely more rustic than other CO hot springs, but a worth while trip. Not especially kid friendly, but people had their kids there. Few amenities and nowhere...More
Our family of 3 adults, a 2 year old and 4 year old enjoyed the hot springs on October 22, 2018. The natural springs is divided into several pools by stones so to speak about 20 minutes from downtown Steamboat Springs. 1 area was very...More
Lots of different temperature pools. Not very many chairs available. Beautiful surroundings. I would recommend water shoes instead of flips because you are moving around so much from pool to pool I think flips would be a bit cumbersome.

We visited the springs in the morning and there were quite a few kids there. If your talking junior high age and up definitely yes. Most people move from 1 pool to the other. There is limited seating around the pool. If your kids are ok with a fairly quiet relaxed atmosphere they would be fine. If they like to be loud and crazy I would say go to the pool. Hope that helps..
