My 13, 11 and 8 year old all loved their 5 days in ski school - note this review assumes Kid's Vacation Center is actually Steamboats ski school program (never cared to note the official name!). In the past two years we have visited Steamboat all three have been in this program for a total of ten skiing days. Even... More

One of the best ski schools anywhere, especially for very young skiers (i.e., three years and up). Drop them off here each morning for a week while mom and dad bring the big mountain to its knees, and you'll be amazed at what accomplished little skiers you have at week's end. And the kids love it, too. Which, incidentally, may... More

We are Miami natives - born and raised. Needless to say, we are not used to the cold or skiing. However, the Kids Vacation Center made the whole experience for my 6-year-old daughter enjoyable. She didn't exactly love learning to ski, but she did love going to the ski school, and loved her coach, Riley. Also, staff mad eit easy... More

We have used the KVC for two years now (1 year old and 2 year old). I loved that some of the staff was the same from the prior year and they remembered my daughter. SHe was a bit of a handful the first year (age 1) as she was used to a lengthy afternoon nap and didn't nap well... More

I put my 3 year old in the daycare/ski lessons. She had an absolute blast and wanted to go back for more. The instructors were helpful and very kid friendly. I would recommend this to any parent visiting Steamboat.

We had a private sitter most days for our 8 month old. Our experience the first day of kids club was our 8 month old had huge scratches on his face and the staff was unapologetic and nonchalant about another kid scratching his face. I tried to change my days which they accommodated at first then called me 20 minutes... More

I'm disappointed in this program. I have both my boys signed up in ski school. One is 6 years old and just able to ski down from the top of the gondola drop off. The other is 4 years old and can't ski too well yet. The ski day ends at 3 PM. I wanted to take my 6 year... More

I can't describe the pride I felt skiing down the mountain with my daughter for the first time after she spent two days in this ski school. All the instructors were fantastic. I was a little worried about my girls getting too tired and growing frustrated, but the instructors took lots of breaks and made it a lot of fun.... More

Kids had a great time on all the different activities. It seemed a little pricey but we were glad to pay.
