This small museum is very interesting with exhibits covering early skiing to Indian history and pioneers. Part of the Museum is actually an old house complete with all of the furnishings of the time..A great way to remember your Grandma or Great Grandma's place. A very worthwhile place to visit and good for all ages..

Loved the museum and the fact is told the history of Steamboat. A great walk through where you can watch videos of steamboats past as well as see how they lived

We stumbled on their "behind the scenes" tour from the local daily. It took you back into the artifacts not on display. The curator obviously loves her work and her knowledge and enthusiasm shows. Even without that, it was a great snapshot of Steamboat Springs history from the settlement to its Olympic history. Connected is also a furnished historic home... More

My grand children ages three to eight enjoyed the history hunt. My 70+year old husband enjoyed it, too.

Interesting presentations of pioneer lives and times, including some videos and audios that enhance the other exhibits. Includes a nice Victorian home. Spent about an hour and a half and was well worth the time and the reasonable fee. Parking available nearby on the street or in close public lot.

It presented a very good history of Steamboat Springs extending from the original Utes to settlers to development of the skiing industry in this area. It was not overwhelming but it still took a very pleasant 2 hours to meander through the exhibits. The... More
