The National forest has many areas to cover, with trails, bike rides, and fishing. Many beautiful sights to see and pictures to take. Love the area around Steamboat Lake and on North Elk River.

We drove in and around the area. Beautiful areas, fire danger was high and knowing our luck we never saw any wildlife except bugs.

So, we drove through this area of the forest several times and we had to stop, you just couldn’t drive past this area without taking pictures, just gorgeous views of the valley.
