This place is amazing! You had better be in shape to climb the 7 mile hike that is here! Now, if you just want to enjoy the falls, that is a short, easy walk. But, if you want to hike all the way up to the lake, bring your A-game and lots of muscles!!

The falls are spectacular, the hike down and back up are good The extended hike on up to the upper falls in another 2-3 hours and is a great hike going through many different forests, over Fish Creek and then up a rock trail to the falls. One can also hike up to the top of Rabbit Ears but would... More

The short path is for all! The other paths to see the beautiful fall is a great time. You can turn around at any time. First time hiking in the mountains, some markers would have been nice. Went in Mudd season and due to packing we only wore tennis shoes, was ok but hiking boots would have made the walk... More

Stopped in at fish creek falls to admire the view. There was a picnic area bathrooms and a campsite that said host only. The views were amazing and the hike down to the falls an back wasn't bad. I would recommend this place just on the views alone. We came in the mudd season so the falls were going and... More

Short, relatively very easy hike. You can picnic! You can hike to the overlook for a great view of the entire Falls! You can hike to the bottom for an up close look at the water rushing from the bottom of the falls... we did both! Great quick activity close to town!

This hike was perfect with our young kids. We did the upper trail first which is wide and paved and perfect for a stroller. The upper trail takes you too a nice overlook of the falls. We then decided to try the lower trail with our jogging stroller. The trail was gravel with a few small rocky sections but was... More

Just a short 1/4 mi walk to the lower falls rewards with you a beautiful site. We always take our visiting friends and family here. The upper falls is a beautiful and moderately strenuous 10 mi hike, but so worth it. Bring nuts and organic power bars because Howard the Chipmunk will eat right from your hand!

Get there early to avoid parking problems. Upper and lower trails are easier for families. We hiked to the upper trails with a 3 year old and a 1 year old on the back. It was a little nerve racking but fun for sure. If have small children go early. If looking for photos go on the afternoon

It was definitely a good quick stop. We went with my parents and they were able to do the quick hike. The path is paved for the most part. When you reach the falls there is an option to continue to Long Lake which we didn't do because my mother, with bad knees, wouldn't have been able to finish the... More
