We drove our 2016 Honda Odyssey Minivan to Piney River Ranch mid-morning on Monday July 10th. Yes, it was bumpy, but no damage to our vehicle at all. We saw several other low clearance vehicles maneuvering the road without apparent difficulty as well. I think...More

I live in the area, so I'm here several times during the summer. It's my favorite place to be whether I'm hiking solo or entertaining f/f from out of town. You don't need a 4x4 to get there and best to avoid weekends. Decent food...More

Only stopped in for a short visit, but enjoyed it thoroughly! The bar staff was attentive and courteous. Being in one of the most beautiful places one could imagine doesn't hurt the way drinks go down either!

Not an easy drive on a dirt road for about 10 miles but go ahead and make the effort. The setting is very picturesque and it must be sensational when the mountains are reflected in the small lake but there was too much wind on...More

My family loved the view. The drive there was very pretty. Kids loved the road that takes u there. We rented canoe there and that was a huge hit with kids. We would go back there again in a heartbeat.

My husband drove out to Piney Lake for one afternoon in September. We didn't stay there, we didn't hike, we didn't have time. Turns out, it was well worth it for the views alone and when we got there, a MOOSE was standing in the...More
