Having now been to both adventure parks at Vail and Breckenridge, I strongly suggest Breckenridge for children under 10 or 11. The Vail adventure park is better suited for teenagers and up. Plus, the gondola ride to the Breckenridge park is free and at Vail...More

I'd recommend going up the mountain so the kids can see the courses, before you buy the passes...wear tennis shoes, not hiking sandals.

This is our second year taking the boys to Adventure Ridge. They enjoy the ropes courses, tubing, and the coaster. This year my older son really got into the rock climbing. Definitely like the new location of the rock climbing wall.

Either be early or late or wait in long lines getting cold at the top of the mountain. There were clearly not enough staff to get tourists through the safely briefings.

Depends upon your definition of long. That said, if your boys are teenagers, I would go for the unlimited at $70. Pricey, but if you stay a few hours, they will enjoy it.
