My wife and I hiked up here on a Tuesday afternoon. The trail was packed but not to the point of being unenjoyable. Great scenery and really spectacular falls.

Completed this hike on 07/24/17. We arrived @ the parking lot @ 0900...it was already full so we parked in the school's parking lot. We then hiked up the street to the trailhead. The trail is steep with occasional short stretches of level hiking. There...More

Entrance on North Frontage Road near Vail Mountain School. Go early because it gets crowded by mid morning and parking overflows to the school. We hiked past the falls, but you can go on to the top.

Booth Falls trail is just a bit over 2 miles up hill and it seems longer because of the 1400 foot gain in altitude. My wife and I are in our late 60's and we made it by taking our time and staying hydrated. As...More

We arrived at the base of the trail at 9:30 am on a Tuesday morning. It was a good time to start because it wasn't yet hot or crowded. It is a beautiful hike and clearly marked. There is a lot of shade so we...More

This is a beautiful hike. The Map My Walk app shows it was about 5.5 miles round trip. It was a little harder than I was thinking it might be. We packed a lunch and lots of water, and had our dog pack up her...More

We took this hike with 2 couples. The trail starts with a steep climb but then turns into a more gradual walk through a meadow then you climb again up the falls. It is 2 miles up from the trail head to the falls. There...More

My husband and I are in our fifties, and usually hike "easy" to "moderate" rated hikes. This hike was definitely moderate to difficult. We took 3 hours to hike the two mikes up to the falls, with lots of breaks. Beautiful scenery and well worth...More

We decided to take a quick hike up to Booth Falls. The trail is clearly marked and for CO natives a moderate hike. If you're from sea level, give yourselves 3 hours round trip and bring plenty of water. The falls are worth it and...More

My husband hiked this trail last September and said in was beautiful. The leaves were turning. It can be chilly in the early morning, but usually in the 65- 70s if sun is out by noon.

As long as there is no snow or rain then I'm sure you can. We hiked in October and the ground was nice and dry. It's not a super difficult hike.

No. Sorry so late to respond. Should be great to spike hike or snowshoe this time of year.
