If you love to hike you'll love this trail. Many others will likely join you on a weekend. Midweek - it is not crowded. About 2.5 miles to the Booth Creek falls. Another 2.5 or so to Booth Lake. Pretty good elevation gain - so be prepared. The hike can get hot. If you are early in the morning -... More

Great way to spend the day. We meandered are way up the mountain. Not only did it give us time to take in the sights but catch our breath and take lots of pictures! This is a must do if your in the area. Pack a lunch and take your time. There is no need to rush this experience. The... More

If you are looking for a tough hike with all the views-waterfall, cliffs, panoramic, fields, lake-then you will love this hike. I would definitely recommend going all the way to the lake (about 8 mile round trip) as you see beautiful views as you hike through the mountain range. It is a strenuous hike at the altitude, but if you... More

Great hike and nice way to get some exercise. May be crowded, initially a little steep but well worth the effort. Great views back towards East Vail. Nice when the leaves are changing.

Great easy hike except some scrambling at the very end up rocky terrain. I recommend going earlier then it's cooler especially if traveling with your furry friends. Bring lots of water for those non altitude travelers.

!. Not much parking at trail head so, prepare to park on the road 2. immediately after you pass the small parking lot the dirt trail starts right at the sign displaying the trail map..that is the beginning of the trail. (we thought the paved roadway was the trail at first) 3. If you live in a low elevation city... More

My family of 4 novice hikers had our hands full. This hike is not for leisure hikers- we are a relatively fit family with a 10 year old daughter. It took us about 2 hours to make it to the falls with a number of short stops along the way. Make sure everyone has plenty of water to last both... More

Great hike and worth the effort to the falls! So aw some deer and other wonderful wildlife. It is somewhat strenuous to not the average hiker.

It's 2 miles to the falls and it took us 1 1/2 hours but it was sooo worth it. Stayed up and enjoyed it for quite a while. Watched a rain storm go down the valley, guess we where so high up it barely sprinkled on us. Must do! We'll be back and will do it again
