Winter or Summer you can't go wrong with this destination. If you love the outdoors, great dining and lots of activities, this is the place for you.

Vail is a great ski resort however I feel that the City of Vail is compressed along Highway 70 and has a claustrophobic feel to it until you get to the Avon area and the valley opens up.

Vail is just a beautiful town in a very beautiful valley that is easily accessed from the highway 70. Very handsome down town area with upscale shops and restaurants, all surrounded by magnificent and majestic mountains. Definitely a place to visit.

Stayed nearby and walked through Vail Village. Beautiful shops and restaurants with the look of a quaint town in Europe. We went for a whiskey tasting at 10th Mountain and it was superb. It was off season so we took advantage of a few sales.

This entire place is so inviting. Shops, dining, nightlife, it's got it all. Even an outdoor ice skating rink. The complementary busses are a great touch, and excellent for families. Spend time here, indulge yourself.
