When I take the time to write a review it is because a company or it's employees have gone above and beyond the scope of their job. Katie Anderson picked me up promptly for my first time fly fishing in Vail. I had always wanted to fly fish, but felt intimidated that it was an art that took time to... More

I had a great experience with Gore Creek Outfitters. Colton was very helpful setting up the day and is also a good instructor. My guide was Max and he was excellent!!! I would definitely go again.

I walked the Gore Creek Trail full of snow in mid January 2016. I stumbled upon a couple of young guys fly fishing in the creek. It was a lovely experience watching them catch their fish and then move down stream. I walked the trail about 4 km on a gorgeous sunny day with snow covering the whole creek and... More

Mike helped us score 8 rainbows. Great guide, great day! We brought some of our own gear and Mike showed us how to rig it for Eagle.

Booked a half-day morning float Colorado River trip at the Vail resort and was teamed with guide Mike Geisler. Geisler proved extremely knowledgeable of the rushing Colorado and had my son and me on fish within minutes of launch and throughout the trip. Hardworking, patient, enthusiastic - I WILL request and only fish with him on my next trip to... More

Fly Fishing with Nathan was great. He was helpful and fun to fish with. We caught several brown trout and had a great wading trip on the Eagle River. Must do for fly fishers.

We had never fly fished before and were very interested to try it out. The Vail Information office quickly sent us to GCFF for setting up a half day of fishing. Our guide, Dan, picked us up in our hotel on time. After gearing up properly for the ocasion with head out to a nice section of the Eagle River.... More

Great experience. Ryan was professional and patient! He took my friend and me to Eagle and Colorado rivers to fly fish and helped and coached us through the entire day. Much fun was had and many fly fishing tips were shared with us. Looking forward to fishing in the Vail area again very soon.

We went out with Matt and he was great! So low key and patient and professional. We've done fly fishing before but only from the shore. This is pretty much an action packed few hours, as you have to switch directions, not cast into your husband (only one near miss.. :) ) and of course how Matt can stay friendly... More
