This important monument needs to seen by all who work for a living. The mindsets of the psychopathic persons responsible for this violence, are STILL with us. This mentalily, of those who killed innocents, seemingly morphed into real estate brokers and land developers, along with...More

It can be tempting to bypass small, out-of-the-way historical sites, but this one is definitely worth taking the time to track down. We took our time and were very impressed with the site. I wish I had brought my kids there when they we're younger.

Everyone interested in Colorado history or in the labor movement or in the current plight of Working Families should stop and experience this Memorial. At least twenty-three men, women, and children were massacred here. It is just a hundred yards or so off the interstate...More

Doesn't stand out like it should, if you cross the railroad tracks, you have gone too far. Great memorial to a tragic time in Colorado history. The UMWA did a good job preserving this site.

I gave this a 3 rating as I felt it would be hard to find for those who don't live in the area. Needs more signs showing where it is as on I-25 a single sign says Ludlow Massacre and that is about it traveling...More

After reading here we had to visit the site. Very interesting and sad to read what happened here. Very nice area and preserved. Drove to the little town or what is left. Too bad no one is preserving this history. Well worth the afternoon drive.

I visit Ludlow often. I grew up in the area and I know the history too well. The lives that were lost at Ludlow deserve to be remembered and honored. The lone monument that stands at Ludlow over the door to a tiny cellar tells...More

This site was involved in the coal war fought early in the 20th century between the miners and big business( JD Rockefeller). It is the site where the Colorado Militia killed close to 30 people many of whom were women and children. It is well maintained
