This is a small private dinosaur museum that we’ve now visited twice. We’ve enjoyed and learned something new each time we’ve been here. Their real business is cleaning and preparing fossils, which they then make casts of and sell to museums and other institutions. So...More

The RMDRC is one of my favorite paleontology museums in Colorado, even better than the Denver Museum. Most of the skeletons are casts (plastic replicas), but show how cool some dinosaurs of the Cretaceous period really are. The first area is very large and contains...More

Pictures with the plastic exhibits outside... great! Viewing fish fossils... awesome. Pics with real Dino skeletons inside... priceless! It takes 2 hours to do the museum properly. Archeology at work, in session and actively cleaning and preserving real stuff. Never saw anything like it outside...More

This was quite an interesting find in Woodland Park (of all places ... and that is meant positively). The exhibit is not necessarily huge compared to major natural science museums but has lots of great exhibits. I also learned quite a few things about how...More

This center has a good variation of displays from complete fossils to reconstructions. The aquatic section has lots of different displays. Not many hands on displays though. Good gift shop and they have a military discount.
