Nice course, very challenging. Restaurant is good with typical clubhouse food and good beer selection.

This is a great golf course. The restaurant is great. The service is phenomenal. Jennifer is a wonderful server. She takes good care of her customers n makes sure that everyone is happy with their meals n that they are ready for the golfers as they make the turn to their next hole. Great place for a quick bite for... More
This course is a Pete Dye design in New England! Early in the year the play is forgiving because the brush and field grass is short. It is NOT a course to walk, thus carts are included with GPS. This public course has a private course feel. Bring plenty of balls if you are a high handicapper. There is protected... More
Wintonbury is a well designed, carefully maintained golf course. It combines elements of a links-like setting with areas of wooded holes. It has interesting but not severe elevation changes and its expansive vistas make it a beautiful track. It's fairly priced, the carts are good and the staff is capable and friendly.
Wintonbury Hills is often rated among the top public courses for good reason. The course is kept in excellent condition from tees to fairways to greens. Although accessible to beginners, back tees offer challenges to the best of golfers. The electronic golf carts provide yardage but also stop running if you deviate into a protected area. The practice area is... More
I love wintonbury! Other than being my home course its one of the best public courses i have ever experienced (in the country). First the fairways look unforgiving but they are not, once you settle in you either... More
Golfers must play, real nice layout with a good mixture of tough and easier holes.Beautiful scenery, Must use a cart as it is quite hilly in spots. Overall nice track.
This is one of the top ranked public golf courses in the nation - I believe it is # 6. It is a challenging course, with fast greens and a great layout. I play it regularly. I think this is the best course in central Connecticut.
Wintonbury is a favorite golf course of ours because of the layout, excellent maintenance, and great views. The course accommodates all levels of golfer by offering a selection of tee off distances. The advanced GPS system ensures that you know distances and the locations of other carts. The clubhouse dining area offers a variety of food selections and there is... More
