Seaside Park is a beautiful place along Long Island Sound. Parking "inside" the park is crazy expensive for non-residents ($50!) but there was street parking that was free. Beautiful place to walk- in the park and on the beach, and to swim and picnic.

A great park. Designed by Frederick law olmstead. Has beach, ball fields, plenty of parking and a skate park. City needs to take better care of this gem

A beautiful park on Long Island Sound, but we weren't willing to pay the high price as non-residents of Bridgeport. We were able to park nearby and walk into the park and stroll along the seawall walk.

We were totally shocked to drive up and find signs posted saying that out of state visitors must pay $50 for a one day parking pass. That's not exactly a warm welcome! We asked a few locals and they said they didn't think anyone would...More

it does not have a complimentary grill that will make it perfect but is near the university so I'm guessing why they cleaned it up better than what it use to be I dont really recommend people swimming in their water

What a gem! A PTBarnum extravaganza of a beach park and though built in better times it is appreciated by all. Too bad Bridgeport doesn't have a little more money to keep it up. But if they did maybe it wouldn't be so special.
