The Adventure Park at The Discovery Museum is Connecticut's first tree top climbing and ziplining park. Look up-You will see a series of platforms in the trees connected by various configurations of cable, wood, rope and zip lines to form bridges. Each bridge presents a different challenge of how to get to the next platform. A series of bridges form "aerial trails" that proceed throughout the forest, from one tree platform to the next. There are eight different trails to choose from that you can enjoy at your own pace.FALL HOURS ('till Nov 11): Fri 3pm-9pm, Sat 9am-9pm, Sun & holidays: 9am-Dusk. Illuminated Night Climbing Fri-Sat! Awesome Experience!

I haven't had this much fun in the forest since I was 12! The staff was very helpful and the harnesses felt very safe. We will definitely go back!

My daughter went to Adventure a Park recently for a birthday party. She and all the other 9 year olds came back so excited and happy! It was truly a fabulous experience. Kudos to your staff who spent time preparing the girls and instructing.. Highly recommend! Also it was a warm day but the shady area kept the girls comfortable.... More

The main point of attending this park for us was to go on the more difficult/fun courses (the two black diamonds). However, the safety session can often eat into the 2 hour appointment when you are grouped with a large amount of other people. Additionally, they require you to "warm up" on an easy green course (which we got stuck... More

My family and I - and friends - have been going since they opened (and try to go at least a couple times a year). Everyone loves it. It's fun, challenging, and a refreshing thing to do, no matter what age you are. And, the staff is incredibly knowledgable, helpful, and super positive, which just makes the experience more fantastic.... More

Our visiting grandson spent hours in the trees, and can't wait to go back again. A great experience for the high energy kids. We were impressed by the staff who were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and available when needed. A very well run organization.

The Adventure Park exceeded all my expectations, I took my 8 year old daughter for her birthday. The staff were great and all the trails were fun and safe, most importantly. We had such a great time and would return again for sure!

I went to The Adventure Park for my 27th birthday with my friend. It was so much fun and challenging. The yellow course is not too high, but if you have any fear of heights I don't recommend it because some of the ropes course parts can be scary. But I do thinks it's worth it. Very secure feeling in... More

Went on a hot day and was cool in the trees! Great selection of easiest to difficult courses to climb. Great instruction before we started climbing. Fun for all ages!

We had an amazing time. The courses are challenging and exhilarating. I am pretty nervous about heights but out of my group of bravehearts I was actually the least scared about any course. It was my first time ever climbing and using harnesses and further, relying on my knowledge to keep myself safe and it was just so easy to... More
