I remember going to this museum as a kid about 20 years ago. There were a ton of Trolley's and the indoor museum had Trolley's that you could get in and play with the doors, the bells etc. I recently went back a few months ago to see how this museum is doing and was extremely unsatisfied (granted I am... We went with a 7 year old. There is a short ride on a vintage trolley car down a short track to see the lights. The Christmas lights are limited in quantity a bit disappointing. The into a large building where there were some really good model railway setups. If you are into railways this could be great for other... More

Sorry you were disappointed. We have about 2.5 miles down and back of lights. You have to remember this was a active trolley line from the 1940's as well as the antique trolley cars you ride on which is very unique and special. Yes the Main Hall is decorated with lights and is packed full with 7 model train sets... More

When the trolley pulled back to what we assumed was the beginning, we were quite disappointed and felt ripped off. This, however, was only the beginning. We planned to come here before I ended up on crutches. Unfortunately, we had no idea how much walking was involved. I had to end the tour early due to difficulty on crutches, but... More

My fiancé and another couple went to the haunted trolley ride. This was one of the Best I have been to in a long time. Very well organized and put together. Opens at 7 get there by 630. The line gets long. The total event is about 1 hour. We had a great time. I would not recommend for young... More

Having been to the museum before we knew that our oldest would love having his birthday here. The staff was great and we had our own staff member assigned to us, Katy. Katy was helpful throughout the entire event and our son loved it.

Brings back memories of when I was a child, and especially now when I bring my grandchildren. We love taking the train and during Halloween, dressing up and riding the train with all the people who are dressed up. Then once the train stops and we are ready to call it a night, time for the hot cocoa and the... More

This little treasure of a museum is especially wonderful during the Christmas season. The trolley route is bright with holiday lights. Inside, the model train setups are done well. There is even a film to watch.

What a vast array of information and displays in a usually forgotten made of transportation. I find that most who never saw a trolley or experienced the ride have missed out. This place pay tribute to these lesser stars of the iron rail system
