Established in 2004, StageOne is a 225 seat venue in the heart of downtown Fairfield, Connecticut. Originally built primarily for theatre productions, StageOne is consistently voted as the best place to hear live music in the entire region because of the quality of the sound, the intimacy of the space, and the caliber of the artists. There is literally not a bad seat in the house and there are few venues in the country where the fans can be so close to the world-renowned artists who grace the stage in over 200 concerts and productions a year. The artists love to perform here and frequently cite StageOne as their absolute favorite venue. This brings out the very best in them, which is reflected in the quality of their performances and enjoyment of their fans.

The show at this venue was amazing. The courtyard effect is wonderful if you are sitting upstairs. You can see the musicians and the crowd.

FTC has fabulous shows in an intimate atmosphere. There is nothing better then sitting towards the back of a theater and feeling like you are right up front. It is super convenient if you are coming from a nearby town and like using Metro North. The theater is right next to the Fairfield stop.

Fairfield Theater Company has added a new performance venue, but Stage One remains as an excellent place for small performances. Our most recent visit was for Corey Flintoff, NPR reporter, and it was great to have an up-close opportunity to see him and hear what he had to say. The only problem was that the microphones put in place for... More

If you want to experience live music up close and personal, Stage One and The Ware House are where you want to be. Just saw Leo Kotke at Stage One and it was like he was playing for me in my living room.

It's a great place to see bands, the sound is awesome. The train station is right there and so are some great restaurants.

If you like music and want to see top national acts in a smaller venue this is the place. The people who run FTC have done an awesome job creating a tremendous show experience. Do yourself a favor and check out their site for the schedule of events and get to a show to experience it for yourself. You will... More

We have been to 4 different events at this location. It is a great place to go and catch an up and coming group or maybe one taking a last lap or two. There really isn't a bad place to sit or stand. Marshall Tucker band had a bit of trouble with sound at first but it seemed to get... More

Caught a Caravan of Thieves show at the FTC. This concert was at Stage One which is the small intimate venue at FTC. Stage One is a wonderful place to see a show. The acoustics are superb and you are so close to the performers. Drinks and light snacks are available for sale at the two service bars..

When this place opened, it was a theater. We saw some very entertaining plays, including a one-person show with Susannah Yorke. These days, it's a concert venue. About time to change the name, don't you think.
