The library staff is always helpful. The Library has a Maker Space with a sewing machine, an embroidery machine, a 3-D printer and other devices available to Library patrons.

I have found my fortress of solitude and it is in Farmington. Books, magazines, DVD's and much more. The library is for all people to enjoy. They also sponsor lectures, workshops and more. Go there but keep it down OK?

My first time here last Sunday to attend a concert in the hall. I was blown away by how nice it was, like walking into a home. Wonderful setting and quite big. The concert was well attended. There's refreshment as you walk in and a fireplace with comfortable seating. Very nice and friendly place. I could have stayed there longer and enjoyed the setting.

Even though we live in a neighboring town, we prefer to visit Farmington Library. Good selection, lots of events and services. We were able to renew our children's passports there. What a great service to offer!

The Farmington Library is a large library with an extensive variety of books including literature, non-fiction, and reference. It has an expansive children's library with visually stimulating paintings and interactive play areas for young children. There is a large collection of DVD/films, and the 'current books' area is well-stocked and up-to-date. The reference staff is extremely helpful. There are many computer consoles to use and there is a photocopy and fax machine available for a small price. There is also an area called The Maker Space where you can do 3-D printing, Photoshop with Adobe Creative Suite, use a DVD/VHS Recorder for digitizing old VHS, and do embroidery among other creative equipment and software. They also run a variety of community programs on many topics from author talks, music and art events, and the recent partial solar eclipse viewing. It is the best place to go in Farmington for book lovers and people who just want to expand their horizons.

While I enjoy wandering through the stacks to find books of my own interest, I really enjoy watching the enjoyment of my son as he plays and finds books to enjoy. All the staff is kind and helpful. The library also runs some wonderful programs!

Great place!!! Love the children's services and the yearly used book sale. Ebook selection improving....don't have to wait too long for the popular titles.

This library is the host of so many community events and gatherings in Farmington from shows to tutoring to awesome research archives to summer programs to fairy house building. It is not a giant library, but it is welcoming and friendly and involved in the community.
