The Kennedy's and others used to come here. It is not a very large beach but much nice scenery and you can see the Fireworks on the Fourth of July. They also sell food at reasonable prices. I thank the Lord for living close to the water.

The beach itself is very nice however, if you are not a Groton resident the parking fee is incredibly high in the "season". Which runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

We are from out of state and visited on a Sunday in July. We paid $27 to get in. Thought that was a little high but the VERY reasonable pricees at the beautiful concession stand made up for it. A footlong hot dog was only $1.50 and they had hamburgers, delicious fries, candy, just about anything you would want. It... More

It's a small beach with a playground. They don't let kids play on the beach (fisheye, paddle ball ect) even in the areas where there are no people. The snack bar is very reasonable. The water has a lot of rocks so it is hard to walk into.

The fries at the snack bar have been our favorite to the point that fries from any other place just don't taste good. The hotdogs are good (if the seagulls don't grab it form your hand) and the prices are excellent!

A great secret beach, worth the trip. It was free during the week day we were there, plenty of parking.

Typical New England beach. It's a beautiful beach. Clean. Has a life guard. We were there with my grand daughter's (3 & 6). They loved it. And ocean breeze is super.
