“Pleasant little flight of locks”
17 Aug 2016
The five locks at Seend on the Kennet & Avon Canal were once a hive of activity with trade. Today, they are a picture of tranquility.

Nice flight of five lock easy to navigate through with no swing bridges in between. Good preparation, if ascending, for the climb of Devizes flight.

Rock up, turn on and snap away. Picturesque, photogenic, fill your muddy boots. Visit the Barge Inn At Honeystreet for lunch. Good burgers in a charming rustic pub.
