Hammonasset Beach Sate Park has a huge, flat, long beach that is beautiful in any season (crowded in the summer though), There also trails, terrific salt marshes and great opportunities for birding and photography throughout the park.

Wonderful beach, great camping. I wish that Guilford had never let it go. If you bring children, fly a kite and go to the nature centet.
