Fun, interactive nature center. There is a large Osprey nesting station outside the nature center. Wide, clean, well maintained beach. Beautiful sunset. The beach was uncrowded and there were several bicyclists riding in the park. Clean restrooms.

This is a great Park really close to the Fish Tail and downtown Madison and Ashleys ice cream. Beach is better than Myrtle Beach. Long sandy and safe pleasant snack bar best Park in State.

Hammonassett is a wonderful place for a ride. There's lots of secluded paved roads to ride on including within the campsites. Amazing easy walk hiking trails as well.

The family loves walking the beach, the trails and checking out the new Nature Center. The park is not crowded and the sunsets are spectacular. Many ride their bikes, surf cast fish or just spend time together enjoying nature it's worth the trip.

Hammonasset Beach Sate Park has a huge, flat, long beach that is beautiful in any season (crowded in the summer though), There also trails, terrific salt marshes and great opportunities for birding and photography throughout the park.

You can still get to most places on foot and only a small portion of the park is under construction not the beach areas
