I always look forward to warmer weather so I can spend time exploring Wickham park. The different gardens throughout the park are well maintained. The aviary is fun see all the birds. If you are lucky, you'll see the peacocks with their wings spread. It's a nice way to spend the afternoon.

I used to come here all the time as a kid. There's a huge hill that's great for sledding, and it's a cool park to just walk through. You can get in for free if you park on the side and walk up the big hill. ;)

Large park on a hill. Lots of picnic areas, animals, softball fields, trails. The picture on this page shows the view of Hartford. Great place for family outing, reunion, company party, etc...

Wickham Park is wonderful! Pack a picnic and go! There are numerous gardens and great views. The lodge is a great place for weddings and events. Weddings are especially popular.

People are always surprised by the beauty of this hidden treasure in the Hartford Area. The Park is full of surprises with gardens, an aviary, disc golf course, and so much more. I love the hillside with the spectacular view of Hartford and the Connecticut River Valley.

A unique park that offers an exercise trail and a lot of green fields . Simple yet classic . I actually came to find out a friend of mine was once married there .

I have been to Wickham Park for walks. Its a beautiful place. It is great for outdoor photo shoots. Kids love the little bird park and my husband loves the tennis courts. The cost of parking is a little high though.

We had a beautiful wedding at Wickham Pavilion, no thanks to the event coordinator. To list the number of issues we had communicating with Pamela over the past year would be absolutely ridiculous. Once the "sale" was made, little by little we found out that we were lied to and the park was misrepresented over and over. It would be... More

We've had two family get togethers here, the most recent in August. I rented one of the pavilions both times. Couldn't ask for more. The grounds are beautiful, rates very reasonable and park staff most helpful. This is the perfect venue for family gatherings of any kind.

Thank Anne Marie M
