I am an avid hiker and this trail is one of my favorites! The views are stunning and the loop is an easy trail to follow. The steep part of the trail has been redone with switchbacks, which was helpful. I highly recommend this trail!

Great park, has very easy hiking trials to get to the top with some awskme views. Also is really good for catching small fish with the kids, like perch, also some smallmouth bass as well. Its a good time.

Guiffrida Park is another of Meriden's little gems. Tucked away from the city, you can stroll around the reservoir or hike up Chauncey Peak for some great views of the city and south towards Sleeping Giant and the Long Island Sound.
