A lovely picturesque place for a short visit. This time we visited in the evening after a hot day on the beach. My sons love the stepping stones and playing hide and seek in the castle. Unfortunately the information points have been removed.

Castle owned by Cadw no info, no notice boards telling you anything about the ruin. Coffee shop was shut and it was only 3 PM, But we did get to walk the stepping stones across the river and met up with loads of horses on...More

Not been here for years so good to see it's still unspoilt. Took dog for morning walk whilst staying nearby - Castle managed by CADW and could do with more interpretation of its local history and definitely needs a bin! Stepping stones are fun but...More

Historically attractive and simple. don't expect too much as this is just a castle ruins and beautiful river. I loved the feel of the simplicity and the ancient stepping stones over the river.

Ruined, and small castle up the road from the beach. Great and scary (for the fainthearted) stepping stones across the river.
