Impressive castle with a unique stepping stone river crossing. The horses in the field next to the castle were friendly. great family outing

Nice family place to go with no horrible amusements or noise! The public toilets are clean. Good to take your own drinks and picnic out of season as its a long walk up for a drink!

Yes you can swim in the sea but take care as there are cross currents.

There were lots of dogs when we went - Just make sure you clean up as you go for the safety of children that use the beach

If u park by the life guard station there is a concrete ramp that leads directly on to the beach. The only thing I would say is the ramp is steep and as I have breathing difficulties I find it difficult coming off the beach... More
