I go here regularly. Dogs welcome all year round. Large, clean sandy beach with rock pools and so on to explore. Parking prices have recently increased which is annoying. Can easily spent 2 hours just walking the dogs and exploring.

Great natural beauty spot, offering not only the beach but the sand dunes too. Great walks all along this coastline with plenty of lovely, small, good quality pubs/restaurants along the way! Small, quaint and beautiful.

This was my second visit to Ogmore beach in 4 years. Both times I’ve thought what a beautiful location to visit with children and dogs. It’s lovely for costal walks. The only poo I saw was rabbit and sheep on common land. Yes, it doesn’t...More

The beach and walks are fine but there are several reasons that this location deserves no more than 2 stars Car parking is extortionate - £6 if you are there for more than 1 hour Dog poo everywhere Litter, cans and spent barbecues are not...More

We absolutely love this beach and come her frequently as it is dog friendly all year round. It’s usually pretty easy to park although we once made the mistake of going here on a bank holiday weekend when the sun was shining and it was...More

A lovely scenic beach, but it has many hidden dangers. Swimming is dangerous where the river enters the sea as it creates strong rip currents. There is also quicksand at low tide near to where the river enters the sea , and walkers have been stuck...More

A lovely walk even though it was quite windy (could have something to do with it being on the Atlantic coast). Lovely views and great rock formation.

Beautiful beach, you're charged for parking but it's minimal. The beach has rocks as the entire coast does but compared to it's neighbours there's huge sandy areas and it's much more suitable for kids and families. Beautiful sand and lots of lovely rockpools. The toilets...More

Seen a few reviews on here moaning in regard to dog walking on Ogmore beach, Wales has many beaches that are not dog-friendly, and dog free. If you do not like dogs this is not the beach for you, so go elsewhere and leave the...More

There were lots of dogs when we went - Just make sure you clean up as you go for the safety of children that use the beach

There is parking facility with parking attendance. I think it will not cost you more then £5 for parking.
