We explored very close to closing, but were still able to see and appreciate a great deal- Archelon and the bird/biodiversity exhibits were highlights for me. The front desk was friendly while the (high school?) docents did not initiate conversation or want to make eye...More

This was really a fun museum. The fossils, the dinosaurs, the recreations: it's just too awesome! Plus there's all the Native American exhibits and more. Lots of hands on for kids. Great way to spend a cold April day!

Very informative and lots to see for kids. Only 2.5 floors so its not a large museum. A few hours should be plenty of time to explore everything.

The Peabody is what the Museum of Natural History in NYC would be if it were easy to get to, easy to park near, not so overwhelming, and just right for a family with youngsters in tow. Perfect.

This is a great museum for a 2-4 hour afternoon. The dinosaurs are always a hit, the thousands of animals species and mineral displays are impressive. Don't forget to see the mummies.

A very interesting place to visit and not a fortune to pay to see all the beautiful things that they have on display

When showing off New Haven to out-of-town visitors the Peabody is always on the top 10 places list. Especially true when kids are involved as the Great Hall's dinosaur exhibit never fails to wow them! If you only have an hour, or better, 2 or...More

This is not a question about visiting the museum. It is a policy question and should be directed to the museum itself. It political in nature. I can answer questions on parking, the exhibits shown, the educational... More
