The hike is not difficult (one bit that's rugged/steep, but that part isn't too long) and you'll be rewarded by beautiful, panoramic views from the observation tower at the summit.

Great place to climb to the top ,to a medival tower.You can see Vermont,NY,Mass. and on occasion,the Long Island sound! Great place for a rugged,but easily,climb.Go there to reflect,and marvel at the scenery!

There is a lovely stone tower at the top which provides a lovely 360 degree view. It is a relatively easy hike.

If you're in this area, don't skip Haystack Mountain. You drive up to a parking area, and from there it's just a 30-minute (or less) walk to the summit. Just one little steep spot. But then climb the 40 or so steps to the top...More

Short hike up hill, at top is a tower, you can walk up it and see all around Norfolk from the top of the tower.

Trails only at Haystack. We're not campers, so I don't have any suggestions for that...sorry!🙁
