The Maritime Aquarium is amazing. It provides information and interactive displays mainly about Long Island Sound aquatic wild life. They have "touch a fish" where you can touch sting rays and jelly fish. They do rotate some of the exhibits- antarctic penguins, harbor seals, human powered TransAtlantic vessels, and New England light houses. View amazing documentary movies in their IMAX... More

I enjoy going to the Aquarium for a date, with the kids and even with friends. The exhibits are always changing and there really is something for everyone. My favorite thing to do is see the seals getting fed.

The Maritime Aquarium is a great way to spend the afternoon with the children to look at all the fish, seals, sharks and meerkats. The kids loved the hands on tanks where they were able to touch jelly fish, skate and sand sharks! Then the IMAX theater was great we watch a film about the Space center and the point... More

What a trip! Loved the touch tanks and the interactive exhibits. The amphibian/mill building was a little strange but made it unique.

We went with children aged 2 and 4. They loved patting the sting rays, small sharks and jelly fish. They also loved the meercat exhibit.

Maritime aquarium is a great place to take toddlers. It is fun and manageable. The kids loved watching the sea lions and had a blast touching the sting rays. We loved it there. I did find the tank with sea turtles a bit depressing though.

My wife and I purchased a year long membership for the Maritime Aquarium on a gamble. We had taken our two daughters (2 and 5 at the time) to visit one day and the price for our day's ticket could be used towards the membership fee. Doing the math we realized the tickets would pay for themselves with two more... More
