When family and friends get together there is a magical sense of camaraderie of family. Il Cantina Sociale di La Familglia is Our Society of Wine Producers & you are now a member of the family. Throughout your days of wine-making with us you will learn from second, third & fourth generation Italian-Americans the joys and traditions of wine making. From crushing and pressing to racking and bottling, you will be involved in each step resulting in your own barrel of Vino della Casa labeled, of course, with your name. During your time with us, in addition to working with the grapes, we invite you to experience the Italian way, as we know it. We will share with you our new family, the great meals, the lore, the tradition and the story telling that has made for such camaraderie and resulted in so many special times. You'll probably even pick up a few of our favorite phrases and gestures along the way. We invite you to stroll the gardens, play a game of bocce or horseshoes, or lend a hand in the kitchen preparing for the evening's feast!

We traveled to the area for a long anniversary weekend and stumbled upon Dalice Elizabeth on the way back to our hotel after visiting Mystic Seaport. The atmosphere was so relaxed and inviting that we feared we had walked into a private party..... Elegant but comfortable tables and chairs welcomed us waterside, as did the courteous and attentive staff.. We... More

Went there with another couple. We had signed up for the clam bake. They pushed the liquor on us and delayed the food by hours. That's right hours. Everyone was drinking and I'm sure that's good for the money coming in however we were all extremely hungry. They said there was a chance of a passing shower therefore we couldn't... More

The most memorable thing is that the wines were unique. Not one of them tasted like what you expected and all of them were incredible. A riesling that tasted like green apples and a bite of dark chocolate, and a red that was aged in oak that had been fired with cocoa and chilies. Totally different from anything we've ever... More

Had a Groupon. 25 bucks for an 1/4 of a glass of bad wine, and 5 little dinky cakes. The place is only about 10 by 10, and, guess what? They had a guy with an ELECTRIC guitar playing. Geez. We ate our tidbits and paid extra for a HALF glass of wine outside. Will be no third time here.

Great visit for a cooking class. Started with the grand tasting of 7 of their wines. Great wines with live music and friendly service. The interactive cooking dinner was amazing. It was fun, great food, and once again, amazing staff/cooks. My wife and I both were able to volunteer to help with the cooking. Bottles and glasses of their wine... More

Great piece of property and delicious wine and the food is out of this world. But... The service and owners couldn't be friendlier! They go out of their way to make your experience a wonderful one! Don't wait to check it out.

We visited this winery to take a cooking class with friends and we walked away feeling very blessed, to have found a true gem located basically in our back yard. I wish I could remember all of their names but two I won't soon forget; Nanni and Dee! They made us laugh, and made us cry with the stories of... More

Simply the best. Just go. Totally the vineyard you have in your mind. The wine quality was the best and the overall experience was a ten.

Visiting Dalice Elizabeth each year is a lot of fun. It is a long distance from home but a pleasure to try the various wines. Even bought a few bottles too!!
