The park is an excellent place to visit. The boat launch has 3 lanes, so boats can get in and out quickly. There's a dock for fishing and a couple for tying up your boat while getting ready to head out onto the river. Nearby...More

Oldest operating ferry in the country. Nice, quiet and small park borders the ferry landing. Well worth a visit.

The ferry holds 3 cars and takes about 4 min to go from one side of the river to the other. A tugboat moves the ferry across the river, just as it has for years and years.

The state of CT has tried to take the ferry away and Rocky Hill won't let them! For good reasons. This is part of Rocky Hill History. Going back over 100 years. Go down there on a summer day with your kids or your dog...More

A charming ferry that is more of an attraction than a necessity. Located at an adorable marina with a beautiful view of the Connecticut river. There are picnic tables right next to the ferry. There is also a great little restaurant where one can get...More
