It’s a great hike. The beginning is a bit steep and rocky, but once you get past that it’s great. The views are amazing.

This is an easy family & dog friendly hike with great views and a beautiful tower to climb as the rewards! The hike is only about a mile up from the trail head parking area. The first third or so of the trail is steep,...More

I read the review of the trail up to the top here and elsewhere, and was honestly kind of concerned that I'd be literally rock climbing. My fears were unfounded. The first thousand feet or so of the trail is VERY steep, sure. But it's...More

This is a beautiful park with a wonderful climb to the tower. Not for beginners but a nice place to getaway. Nice spot to have a picnic with friends. Lovely belt views from the top.

This is a steep and rough climb in the beginning if you are not in shape. If you come in from the lower entrance and chose the steep rocky road/path you are looking for a legs workout. I loved it, some may not. No matter...More

Spectacular views but a tough climb to the top. Interesting history and wonderful guides at the top to make sure you don't miss a thing.

Despite several reviews that say this is "easy" hike. That should be modified to "if you are young and in shape with no health issues". It is steep, very steep. There is loose gravel and earth for 80% of the pathway, so going down is...More
