A quiet creative step aside. With a village of unusual architecture and beautiful grounds this is a perfect in town get away if even for a short time. "Awesome" playground to quote my grandsons. There is really something for everyone here. Don't miss the annual events like opening day with car shows and tours.

This location is a treasure - but not open much! Many old buildings to tour - lovely gardens. Nice playground for the kids. Many picnic spots.

we regularly take our grandchildren to boothe park. they have a play area with slides and the like for them. the grounds are fairly well kept, the buildings are very interesting to walk through, they do trips for school children, ... all in all a nice relaxing place to visit.

The Friends of Boothe do an amazing job! Clearly Stratford's most awesome park with something for everyone unless you want to go swimming! No food here so bring your own but you'll love the interesting exhibits and very knowledgeable docents!

This is a truly unique place with a large number of unique buildings - an ice house, a blacksmith shop, a flat red-wood structure, a miniature lighthouse... many filled with the unique collections of the Boothe brothers, like a collection of shells, and minerals. The original house was really interesting - the history of the family and the period pieces.... More

There's also the old toll booth that used to be after the Sikorsky Bridge located on the property. Brings back a bit of nostalgia for the people that remember the toll booths.

For the past year I have walked my dog almost daily in this park. Each day it changes- the beautiful rose gardens, the trees and shrubs or the family picnics and other gatherings. I love seeing the out of state visitors marvel at the unique buildings and artifacts the Boothe Brothers left to the town. I have lived in Stratford... More

Lived in Stratford mos of my life and one of the highlights is Booth Park. As a kid my family always went there on Easter. The playground has been updated (and is handicapped accessible) and now I take my 3 year old neighbor there to play. We love running up and down the hills, visiting all the buildings - chapel,... My wife and I brought our family to Boothe Park for photos with our daughter and soon to be born son. The park has lots of great places to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet that nature provides. Some really interesting buildings in the park, too. Worth a visit on a nice spring/summer day...bring a lunch.

Thank Anthony G
