Lovely public art exhibition placed in different points throughout Washington Depot & featuring internationally recognized artists. Strongly recommend getting there by 10am & taking the guided tour. Aside from the art walk Washington Depot is a lovely New England town with many cute boutiques, cafes & bookstore. Fabulous!!

We were visiting Washington for the weekend and were looking forward to the show. We were disappointed to find it was exclusively sculpture. Not that that is a bad thing, but this particular exhibition was hard to appreciate. Even the artist in our group found it puzzling.

This small gallery has different exhibits beautifully shown. It also has various art classes for beginners up to experts. I enjoyed learning to draw with colored pencils and have won a few ribbons at local fairs for my drawings. Currently, it is sponsoring a walk around Washington Depot where various sculptures are exhibited outdoors. This is unusual and I have met visitors from other towns enjoying the walk.

If you happen to come upon the quaint and sleepy town of Washinton, Connecticut, The Washington Art Association is a must-see. With a newly renovated entrance, the gallery itself puts up carefully curated and vibrant art that is a pleasure to simply walk around and enjoy. There are also many art classes provided that are not only inspiring and creative but also a blast! The new Sculpture Walk that the WAA sponsored has beautiful and famous works or sculpture placed all around town, and the gallery has maps so you can walk around and see not only the stunning sculptures but also the stunning town itself. There is also many events the WAA sponsors, which provide performances, food, and discussion about the art provided. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy my visit every time I come, and I would recommend it to everyone!

This organization is so welcoming and creative. I am fascinated by their exhibition's diversity throughout the year. They have incredible parties, a fascinating Young Talent exhibition, and feature artists that pose historical significance on the town. The Washington Art Association has a diverse pallet concerning artwork and is constantly pushing the boundaries.
