I have used the park to do Qigong with others, gone to concerts, enjoyed the food at the Pond House as well as running through it as part of the Hartford Marathon. The flowers are tended with care by both staff and volunteers...thanks to them...More

Seasonal displays of amazing flowers cared for by a huge group of dedicated volunteers. Great place to walk, to picnic, to sit and enjoy the views.

The bulb garden is great in late May, then the roses from mid June until a killing frost. Dahlias are great in September and October, amazing in size, shapes and colors. Pond house Cafe is fun and byob (w corking fee) or buy in.

The garden is free for visiting, beautiful rose garden just 2 miles away from Hartford downtown. The pond house cafe have different events like concerts or weddings during summer.
