We took the Christ Church Cemetery Lantern Tour and were very impressed by the professionalism and historic content of the tour. They have re-enactors that make the experience that more interesting. There are other Cemeteries on tour, a different one every Friday.

Set on a square of grass surrounded by stately old trees and governmental buildings, it is the perfect place to relax and at times enjoy open air concerts.

Plan a good afternoon wandering all the great historical sites around the park. Many interpreters bring our American heritage to life with their reinactments. Beautiful grounds and gorgeous buildings - you're going to like it.

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
I'm confused. Do we start at the First State Heritage Park Welcome Center or the Delaware State Museum Visitor Center? We want to tour the Old State House, Legislative Hall (Capitol Bldg.), Woodburn (where we have an appointment) and end up at the John Bell House for a walk around the Green. Where should we park? Thanks!
