An outstanding aviation museum! Put on your walking shoes, pack a picnic/tailgate lunch and bring your camera. You can spend several hours here. There are docents available to give tours or you can go at your own pace. 30+ aircraft many reconstructed & restored by the volunteers at the museum. Great pride is taken in the care of this museum.... More

Next to the Smithsonian, in this part of the Northeast, it is one of the best aviation museums to attend. Many events are held at Air Mobility for the public and every one is well attended. It is also free admission. Well staffed and various aircraft are available to be entered into as well as being seen. Curators did a... More

Fun for all ages...kids will learn about the history Dover AFB and the tupes of airplanes flown at the base. All will learn what it took to get cargo from one place to another, able to see all the types of airplanes used, history of the base itself and much more. No cost to come see history.

You can make a donation to help keep the operation running but there are no admission fees. There is a large variety of aircraft on display as well as the control tower that was in operation until 2009. We spent the day... More

My wife and I visited the museum this morning after spending the night in our RV at the Dover Air Force Base FamCamp, but were very disappointed to discover that they were hosting a PT Cruiser gathering. That made it impossible to get pictures of the aircraft without including two or three gaudy customized cars in the pictures.

Very amazed. Large variety of aircraft on display. It was great to get to walk into to the belly of a C5A. I could not believe how huge it was. Nice to see the history of the air force. The artwork on file was unique. A very educational trip. There was no charge to enter only a request for donations.... More

We will definitely visit again. Our 17 year old daughter loved it. Air Force 2 that was recently retired is located here. It was very interesting. We were lucky enough to have a guide available to escort us into all the planes outside we wanted to go in. He was quite knowledgeable about all of planes. I wish I remembered... More
