Lots of trails for nature lovers. The main office has displays of the wildlife found there. Two large ponds for fishing or kayaking with plenty of views.

Nice place to explore, lots of ponds and trails to follow. Be sure to look up often while on trails, lots of spider webs.

A nature preserve and a person refuge. It is beautiful in it's simple beauty. The are areas to boat ( kayak, canoe ) and woods to walk.

Wished we had a boat. Very nice area for walking and enjoying the ponds. No birds or wildlife around but a tranquil lovely spot

Drove through the Refuge and stopped to purchase lifetime passes to all the parks before the rates increase August 28th. Easy, quick and efficient process. So glad we stopped.

Friendly and helpful staff at the office/visitors' center, and a very nice gift shop with a variety of conservation/preservation information and memorabilia. You can buy cold drinks, snack bars, park caps or just donate to the Park. This is an outdoor attraction so bring lots...More
