This house dates back to the late 1600s and is documented to be the oldest structure in town, and the second oldest in the state. The Dutch House is a rare example of an early Colonial-era middle class family home.

It was part of the package. We entered through the garden which took up most of the property. It is a small house, but so much happened here. A must see.

Take the combined tour offered by Historic Association. Interesting look at a tradesman's typical 1700's home. Entire area of historic New Castle is well worth the visit.

Built in the late 1600s, this small but well designed house is very impressive. The guide will give the history of the house and improvements that where made over time.

Its amazing that at one point 9 people could have lived in a place this small. There's a nice tidy yard and a garden in the colonial style that's maintained by a local group. A worthwhile half hour of your time!
