Alot of fun for the whole family. The only reason I didn't give it perfect is I think there is always room for improvement!

The boardwalk gives you an amazing view of the beach and a nice shot of the local streets. At certain times the boardwalk can be very crowded and full of families. There's lots of shops and food options as well.

We visited in the off season when prices are reduced at the hotels. Luckily we got a gorgeous 61 degree day to walk the boards on Saturday but on Sunday we were in the windy mid- thirty degrees! The boardwalk was pretty much closed down...More

........of both the ocean and people watching. There are ample benches that can be flipped from people watching views to an ocean view. There are arcades, Funland, beach shops, bars, walk up window order foods and pizza shops. Lots of people will walk the BW...More

I know it's a beach but I seriously saw seagulls flying down to grab fries out of peoples containers. So being scared of birds, that was awful. I also did not like the parking situation. It's all 30minutes in every direction. I was told that...More

This was my first visit to Rehoboth and I assumed since it was November and out of season that most of the boardwalk shops would be close. In fact most of them were open and thriving. Everything was very clean and well lit at night....More

I came in November on a sunny day about 50 degrees. It was lovely to walk along the beach and hear the waves crash. There were people out doing the same thing. It was lovely how uncrowded it was. It's peaceful and good exercise. The...More

Many ocean front towns and cities have a cheap, sleazy look with souvenir stands everywhere and an irritating ambience but not here in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. The town is quaint, loaded with fantastic restaurants, nice elegant shops, and of course the Atlantic Ocean right off...More

Always fun to come to Rehoboth in off season when it isn't so crazy. We always visit the beach and Kilwins chocolate shop, along with many other delightful little shops. I still miss the crepes on Penny Lane, though. 😢

Most of the stores and restaurants are open until Halloween and then they slowly start to drop off, although a good number are open year round.

Yes, they are a very short walk to the boardwalk. When you're in the area, suggest that you explore Lewes and the nature boardwalk and trail at the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. Ducks and geese are starting to show up.
