Boca grande is a treasure to visit. Tons and tons of shells and if you visit different parts of the tip of the island you can find different types of shells. I parked at the tip of the island by the museum and headed to...More

One of the most beautiful beaches in the U.S. clear water - wide swaths of sand, restaurant right on the beach - lighthouse - just cannot say enough. $6 round trip over the bridge but oh so worth it! You won’t find a more beautiful...More

We drove down for the day on Christmas Day. We parked next to the beach, didn’t have to pay to park but did pay $6 to drive across the bridge. As soon as we got out of the car we both started coughing. Then walking...More

Took a drive down for the day and was not disappointed. It was a beautiful island with soft white sand. Had a walk around the island and ate at the marina which served lovely food although a little pricey. The beaches all around the island...More

Went here specifically to see the lighthouse/museum, which was worth seeing. We were there on a Wednesday morning (they opened at 10AM) and the lighthouse itself is the museum. There are five rooms to tour with interesting information about this area. It was cool and...More

What a lovely old lighthouse and delightful beach area. Was just going to the beach for some sun and found an entertaining educational experience in the process!

We like going to this beach when visiting the area. You do have to pay to get over the bridge to Gasparilla Island ($6) and then $3 to park. But the beach is not crowded which is nice especially with young kids. There are a...More

In my opinion the best beach has been Ft Myers Beach down south across from Santini Plaza behind the Wyndham. It is white floury sand and gorgeous. They really take care of it. You have to check it out. Have fun!!!
